| This a very thorough restoration of a 1969 MGB GT. The restoration entails a full cosmetic makeover, using the best quality of paint that PPG has to offer in the original formulated Primrose Yellow. It was painted with a base coat / clear coat system and polished to a show room finish, completely disassembled and then reassembled with all new rubber seals, front windshield and many new chrome and electrical parts to insure the finest quality and functionality in the finish. The underside of the hood and deck lid and engine compartment were also refinished. The interior has been restored with new carpeting, paneling, and fully upholstered front and rear seats which includes all new foam and diaphragms for the seats. The dash and instrument panel are in very excellent shape and are all functioning properly. Mechanically the car has been restored to be a reliable and road worthy every day driver. The fuel system has been renewed with fuel tank including sending unit, flex line, fuel pump, and carburetors rebuilt. Complete exhaust system has been replaced with a new with a ceramic coated exhaust manifold. Engine and cooling system has all been serviced and renewed with ignition components, belt, hoses, gaskets where needed, and a new Petronic distributor electronic delivery system. All worn out suspension parts have been replaced and upgrades were made. The brake system has been renewed with rotors, rebuilt calipers, new rear slave cylinders, front and rear pads and shoes, front and rear flex hoses and clutch system with new slave cylinder, master cylinder, and flex hose. Wheels have been restored and fitted with new Michelin tires. This car is a very fine example of an original MGB GT |
