| The 70's was a time for the Ferrari Sportscar to be reinvented. The 365 GT/4 BB was the start of a new era in design for them. In 1976 Ferrari introduced the 308 GTB to the world. Somehow they decided the 1st cars were to be made from Fiberglass...crazy ! All for a lightweight new car that had many issues so in 1977, they switched to the more common steel construction. This example is an early steel 308 GTB in everyone's favorite, Red coachwork w/Black leather was the color of choice. The 2.9 ltr. 240 HP V-8 motor performs beautifully. It's factory A/C still blows cold ! These early 308's are gaining steam in the market. Maybe it's time for one. |
