Rich Vaaler has been selling and leasing commercial real estate for 46 years and founded Vaaler Commercial Real Estate in 1988. The firm operates from two offices — Stuart, Florida, serving the Treasure Coast and the US-1 corridor from Palm Beach County north through Indian River County, and Leesburg, Virginia, serving Loudoun County and the Dulles corridor.
Rich is licensed as a broker in both Florida and Virginia and handles automotive and highway-commercial assignments personally rather than passing them to associates.
The firm works both sides: owners selling or repositioning existing dealership and service real estate, and operators looking for sites, franchise points, or expansion land.

A note on how Rich works
Rich is the author of Don't Leave It to the Kids! and its companion workbook, The Exit Wise Simplicity Toolkit, and hosts the weekly radio program Commercial Real Estate Simplified on the True Oldies Channel in South Florida. Much of his practice involves owners who have held property for decades — often family-held dealership or service real estate — and are deciding whether to sell, lease, exchange, or pass it on. That work runs under ElderCRE, his practice for longtime commercial owners.
