Dual [correct & real] tear drop spot lights, dual rearview mirrors, dual rear window defrosters, 18-8 stainless dual exhaust system, road lamps and 6 seat belts with 50’s style aircraft buckles.

There were 2 versions of the “Montclair Sport Coupe” built.. 71,588 solid steel top unites were produced, and 1.787 glass top Sun Valley unites were produced. They also produced 10,668 convertibles. A total of 330,000 Mercury cars built for the 1955 model year. This included all 3 series, the Custom, the Monterey Montclair.
