Fiskens is today internationally acknowledged as the foremost dealer in fine historic automobiles. Gregor Fisken, having founded the business in the difficult days of 1991 the company has gone from strength to strength with an annual turnover
measured in millions and a reputation that is second to none. Gregor's view on this is typically straight forward, "Its no great secret that if you enjoy your work you'll do well with it and for us these cars are a passion. We've always taken the
long term view and really enjoy looking after our clients and customers many of whom become friends".
A visit to the Kensington showrooms or a look at the stocklist will reveal a strong presence of sports, competition and racing cars, but this specialisation is something that developed over a period of years. "Back in the early nineties we were probably best known for Pre War cars, a lot of Bentleys, coachbuilt Rolls-Royces and that sort of thing. We would go racing at the weekends for fun but as historic racing became more established the sort of cars that we were competing with seemed to gravitate toward the showroom. International events like Goodwood, Mille Miglia and the Tour Auto ensure that there is always a healthy demand for eligible cars but we try to cater for all budgets
and will always keep a space for a good Rolls or Bentley". |
